The Focus On Your Future fortnight is a fantastic opportunity open to all BU students from any course, year group, level of career experience, or walk of life. All sessions/events are designed to help you to either start thinking about possible career options for the first time, or to fine-tune your employability skills/understanding before you make applications and attend interviews.

For part-time jobs, placements, graduate roles (to apply for now and start either 2021 or 2022), summer internships, and volunteering 100+ organisations have confirmed so far, all looking to help you find immediate work or discuss career options/applications Opportunities across many sectors/course areas such as Engineering, IT, Business, Marketing, Sports Coaching, Health Care, Teaching and more.
Multiple 'Career Insight' sessions
All short, informal, and stress-free, and hosted by a range of guests and BU and SUBU staff. Examples: Employer advice sessions, recruitment webinars, BU 'Skills Development Programme' launch, Work & Study Abroad options, SUBU Volunteering and how volunteering helps transform your job prospects, and lots more.
GlobalBU - Work & Study Abroad
There are multiple during the fortnight to help you arrange work and study opportunities abroad.
Join these informal, bitesize sessions to find out about funding, schemes, locations etc.
Some are repeated to help you to not miss out.
BU works alongside Erasmus+ and the Turing Scheme to offer our students the chance to expand their horizon, improve their confidence, and add experience to CVs that will impress future employers!
Some sessions need to be booked in advance.

Organisations will be joining us to encourage and help you to apply for a wide range of employment opportunities. They will be participating in this event as they employ BU students on a regular basis with great results.
This event is open to all BU students and recent graduates. No need to book.

MA student in film directing at BU, Mai Hedvig Lyngby, presents a collection of mixed media collages as a creative expression and a commentary on the feminist contemporary journey of the current day. In the Lees Gallery, Talbot Campus.
