This is the second research event organised by the Commercial and Maritime Law Research Group.
This event aims to bring experts from the academia and industry to have a robust discussion on the Legal considerations and Commercial implications of adopting Sustainable Technology.
As the global spotlight firmly focuses on everybody contributing towards a sustainable environment, the question must that arises are two-fold:
First - what role does the current unrelenting advancement of technology play in achieving this objective?
Second, what role do lawyers have to play in balancing the goal of achieving a sustainable environment for our inhabitance, and also encouraging the development of efficient technology which does not abuse our privacy by digitizing our personal and treasured information without our consent.
This research event provides us with a wonderful opportunity to have a comprehensive discussion of many of these issues.
