Secure and Productive Working in the New Digital Age
We invite you along to a one-hour, interactive webinar that is focused around understanding training and gamification for the working population, in this new digital age.
Before the live session, we ask that you complete a three-part online learning tool. The POWER Tool (TPT) was built by behaviour change experts LiMETOOLS, and supports homeworkers in the current working climate – whilst so many office staff are having to adapt to the long-term changes of staying motivated, productive, reducing loneliness and keeping safe online (from hacks, phishing scams and personal wi-fi vulnerabilities). The tool consists of three 25-minute interactive behaviour change learning modules. This will be followed by a one-hour live workshop webinar that will delve deeper into the psychology and science behind how learning in this medium is adapting to market needs.
The student version of TPT is being developed currently and by taking part in this workshop you can help influence the development to support students through online learning, managing schedules, financial issues (with fewer part-time jobs now available), staying motivated and keeping safe across all online platforms (social networking and files sharing spaces).
Megan is the Business Development Executive (Psyber) at LiMETOOLS and a former BU student who studied both her BSc and MSc at Bournemouth University. Megan started working for LiMETOOLS straight after completing her degree in 2016.

LiMETOOLS is a specialist behaviour change company that uses psychological learning theory in the development of organisational behaviour change tools.
They are skilled in developing story-led content, rich in decision-making scenarios that leads to long-lasting behaviour change. By layering up the teaching techniques through different mediums and with the Nudge technique, the learning tools have multi-level engagement. LiMETOOLS’ work often includes feature film drama, comic-strips, animated quizzes and factual documentaries to generate user immersion and deliver habit change, measured through embedded data analytics.
The team’s expertise includes, but are not limited to, psychology, cyber security, sustainability, gaming, film, TV production and behaviour change management.
Instructions on how to access the webinar will be emailed to you upon confirmation of your booking.
While open to other BU students, the session is designed and delivered specifically for the students participating in the Global Talent Programme.
This workshop is a part of the GTP Digital Futures Webinar Series and will count as a core activity on your Disciplined Researcher Badge towards your GTP Award.
