To celebrate the arrival of the Chinese New Year and BU’s engagement with China, you’re invited to our third Global BUzz event of the year - Global BUzz China - on Wednesday 10 February.
Working in partnership with students from the Chinese Students and Scholars Association – the CSSA – and through your engagement, we hope to create a buzz on campus throughout the day with a series of talks and traditional activities, including Chinese food, cultural displays and entertainment.
This is an opportunity to showcase BU’s on-going research and engagements across China and to hear about the experiences of our students from China who are studying in Bournemouth, as well as those who have travelled there as part of their degree.
The event begins at 9am in Kimmeridge House on Talbot Campus, with the formal programme starting at 9.15am. We are delighted that Professor Yi-ke Guo, Professor of Computing Science at Imperial College London, will be joining us as our keynote speaker, followed by lunch and workshops with students and employers in the afternoon.
This free event is open to all staff and students to attend. For further information and to register, simply visit our Eventbrite page.
