This year’s conference will take place on Tuesday 13 June in the Fusion Building on Talbot Campus.
The theme of this one day regional conference, organised by the BU Centre for Excellence in Learning (CEL), is Assessment & Feedback and we are delighted to welcome Professor Dai Hounsell as our keynote speaker.
We would like to encourage all staff and students to submit abstracts for the conference. Report on and share pedagogic research or to report on and share your experiences of teaching and learning. Abstracts can be about anything related to assessment and feedback; including trying something new – perhaps something from the I-innovate events; evaluating new or more established methods of teaching or assessment; or student responses to assessment and feedback. This is an opportunity to share with, and learn from, colleagues from across the university and external organisations with opportunities to run a workshop, present a paper or present a poster. The closing date for abstracts is Monday 8 May.
Submit your abstract online - If you would like to leave feedback about your experience of using the Bristol Online Survey (BOS) to submit your abstract there is space to do this on the last page.
Further details and regular updates about the conference can be found in the CEL blog and in the weekly digest.
We look forward to receiving your abstracts and to your participation in the conference.
Use the Bristol Online Survey (BOS) for teaching and learning and give us your feedback
This year we are using the Bristol Online Survey (BOS) tool to gather abstracts for the conference. If you would like to use this tool for teaching and learning activities you can find it in the TEL Toolkit.
