Art at BU offer four, fantastic, free gallery spaces available for students, staff and the local community to book. They're all on our Talbot Campus with professional display walls, lighting systems and digital screens.
The arts are an important aspect of the BU environment and we aim to share exhibitions that are thought-provoking and engaging, embracing the creative talents of our staff and students and showcasing emerging artists, community projects and examples of local culture.
In addition to the fine art displayed in the public areas on campus, there are rotating displays of visual arts in the bookable gallery spaces on our Talbot Campus to encourage discussion and participation across BU and in the local community.
The Galleries can be found in the following areas:
- The Atrium Gallery, Poole House
- Staff Gallery, Poole House Staff Centre
- Art at BU Collaborative Projects Cases, Poole House Reception
- The Lees Gallery, Lees Lecture Theatre Complex Lobby
The galleries are open from Monday to Saturday between 8am and 8pm all year round and can cater for exhibitions, research show and tells, project launches and student/staff assessments.
Find out more about how you can book any of these spaces, as well as what’s on display - including the recent student exhibition SHOT19: An exhibition of photographs which examine the core principles of photography in relation to the moving image, by students on the MA Cinematography for Film and Television programme.
