In line with Government guidance, Bournemouth University is operating an on-site testing facility for staff and students, as well as staff and students of Arts University Bournemouth.
The site, available from 10am to 3pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the Student Centre, uses lateral flow device (LFD) testing kits to test for Covid-19.
From Monday 1 February, the Government has confirmed that our testing facility can be widened for use twice a week by any staff member or student who will be on campus.
While campus use is limited during the national lockdown, the rollout of further testing has been approved to further the safety measures at universities and to look for asymptomatic cases of Covid-19.
Therefore, from Monday 1 February, until initially 15 February, all staff and students accessing campus and wanting a test will be able to have up to two tests per week, bookable through the usual booking route.
All staff and students wishing to book a test should do so through the booking system, and you should only be attending campus if you have expressed permission to do so, for face-to-face teaching, or if you cannot study at home.
