As part of our annual preparations for the new academic year, IT Services will be updating PCs in several buildings across campus. IT Services will also be implementing changes to the way you access Horizon. Therefore, please be aware of the following changes over the coming weeks.
Between 7 and 19 September, both physical and remote access to the PC labs in the Poole Gateway Building (PGB) and Weymouth House will be unavailable for students and staff. The Macs will be unaffected and still available to use and, of course, other computers are available on campus for you in the libraries and open access centres on Talbot and Lansdowne campuses. You can also still access applications and software via Horizon during the majority of this period. If you have any concerns about this relating to your studies or research, please speak to your Programme Leader or supervisor. From the start of the new academic year, the PCs in PGB and Weymouth House will be available for use on campus, in support of your return to on-campus learning and remote access will continue to be available via Horizon.
