Bournemouth University is proud to be the official Higher Education Partner of Premier League AFC Bournemouth and we are celebrating the partnership, which is now in its third season, with the BU Big Match on Sunday October 25th when AFC Bournemouth play Tottenham Hotspur.
The BU Big Match will highlight how the partnership is reaching audiences in the UK and internationally, as well as showing our commitment to the Region and the contribution our staff and students make to the wider community.
We believe Bournemouth is a great place to study and live and our Open Days are an important chance for potential students to come and see this for themselves. As part of the BU Big Match we are offering a great prize of an additional opportunity to come back to Bournemouth.

By entering the competition you are agreeing to these competition rules.
You must be over the age of 16 years to enter and must be 18 years of age or over, or accompanied by an adult, to claim the prize.
A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
We hold the right to reject any entry which we feel does not meet the criteria or rules of the competition, or which we feel is derogatory, immoral or inappropriate.
The competition will close at 5pm on Wednesday 25 November 2015. Late entries will not be accepted.
The winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on Thursday 26th November 2015. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using the details provided when registering for the open day). If they do not confirm acceptance of the prize within  days of being notified by the University, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the University will be able to select another winner in accordance with the process set out above. Details of the winner will be on the University’s social media accounts and website - www1.bournemouth.ac.uk.
The prize will be a one night stay, including breakfast, at a hotel selected by the University, dinner for two (excluding drinks) at a selected Bournemouth restaurant selected by the university and two tickets to an AFC Bournemouth home game during the 2015/16 Premier League season. This prize is non-transferable and no cash or alternatives will be offered.
The two AFC Bournemouth tickets included in the prize are for a Bournemouth home game during the 2015/16 season of the Premier League only – not all home match dates will be available and the exact date will be arranged with the winner.
Travel – travel will not be provided, the winner will be expected to make their own way to and from Bournemouth and to the various locations across the town when here.

By participating in the competition, you give Bournemouth University permission:
(a) to cover your prize visit to Bournemouth by taking photographs and interview you and your guest about your experience.
(b) to use any images we take on our social media channels and for publicity and marketing purposes;
(c) To mention your name in relation to this and the BUbigmatch Open Day competition.
All entrants agree to take part in any publicity or promotion that may be organised by the University in relation to the competition, whether or not they win a prize.
The University does not accept responsibility for the return of any materials submitted in connection with the competition.
The University does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in either competition or being selected for a prize, save that the University does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
The University reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend these rules at any time, without prior notice.
All personal information shall be used in accordance with the University’s Data Protection Policy.
This competition and the rules are subject to and governed by English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
