Computing and Informatics Research Centre

Computing and Informatics Research Centre (CIRC) promotes both fundamental and applied research. Our staff members and postgraduate researchers are highly engaged with both the academic and industrial communities.

We study computing systems and their role and inter-relations in a larger organisational ecosystem and, hence, interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinarity are main themes of our research, motivating us to work closely with colleagues from different subject areas, e.g. psychology, business, law, health and social care and tourism. The steadily growing recognition our research has resulted in an increasing number of national and European funded research projects.
