Since 2015, leading academics from across BU have delivered an eclectic mix of professorial lectures to the general public and the wider BU community.

These have covered a wealth of research topics, from the various anticipated impacts of Brexit, to performing hip replacements in space, how technology is changing the landscape of computer animation and what underpins exceptional sport performance – to name just a few.

All of the past inaugural lectures have one thing in common – they give our newly appointed professors a platform to share the difference that their unique area of research is making to society.
