Welcome to BU

Communication University of China (CUC)

BU welcomes students from CUC

We work closely with CUC to give students on a number of postgraduate media courses the opportunity to finish their Master's at BU. This is a fantastic opportunity to not only learn from our knowledgeable academics and their experiences of working within the media sector around the world, but also to experience life in the UK and gain a new perspective by studying alongside other students from a variety of backgrounds.

I would like to offer a warm welcome to all CUC students who are planning to continue their studies at Bournemouth University. Our Faculty of Media & Communication is one of the largest of its kind in the world and has a global reputation for combining research and teaching.

"Our philosophy is very simple: we aim to combine the highest academic standards with the most up-to-date professional practice. Our courses combine practical learning techniques with impact-led research fronted by world-leading academics. This results in highly employable graduates and world-leading research. We invite you to explore this site to find out more about your opportunities and we look forward to welcoming you here in the future."

Guy Starkey, Associate Dean Global Engagement (Faculty of Media & Communication)
