From Media and Computer Animation, to Computing, Technology, Design & Engineering, or Psychology, research within the Faculty of Media, Science & Technology is world-leading.

A Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is an opportunity to critically investigate and evaluate a specific topic in one of our specialisms with a research supervisor. It can also be a precursor to a PhD, giving you two years to delve into a subject that you are passionate about.

You could make a difference in the world of technology and have an impact on saving lives or rehabilitation, or work with our psychologists to improve every day life.

We work closely with colleagues from other faculties and specialisms across the university to deliver impactful and exciting research across a multitude of disciplines.
