Course details
This practice-led BA (Hons) Interior Design degree balances creative exploration with technical understanding and professional skills. You’ll learn how to design sustainable, inclusive and visually engaging interiors through studio projects, design theory, digital communication and hands-on making.
From your first year, you’ll work on projects that encourage experimentation, collaboration and creative problem-solving. You’ll explore how interiors shape experiences and communities while building confidence in concept development, visual storytelling, prototyping and professional presentation.
Working within BU’s interdisciplinary design environment, you’ll collaborate with students from Architecture and Product Design on selected projects, helping you understand how ideas develop across object, interior and building scales.
By graduation, you’ll have developed a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, technical knowledge and creative identity.
