It’s not just what you learn at university that changes your life. Those years spent studying form a pretty big time in most people’s lives, so it’s always good to take the opportunity to sit back and reminisce.
As an SU President during the late 1970s, Dorset Institute alumnus Bruce Selby Bennett campaigned to deliver changes that would pave the way for the student experience we know today.
Back in the summer of 2012, I started my BU journey as a fresh-faced, nervous 19-year-old. As a huge bookworm who loves writing, my degree choice felt right; I was enrolled on the English degree, excited to study my favourite A-level subject in depth and learn more about a subject that I loved.
Volunteering at the 2012 Olympic Games while studying at BU has led Eunjung Kim to pursue an academic career which is shaping approaches to volunteering around the world.
