Talbot Campus

Talbot is home to the Faculty of Media & Communication, the Faculty of Science & Technology, and undergraduate teaching delivered by the Bournemouth University Business School. It’s also where you’ll find our on-campus sporting facilities, the Students’ Union’s headquarters, and modern, sustainable developments such as the Fusion Building and Poole Gateway.

Lansdowne Campus

Lansdowne is where the majority of our Faculty of Health & Social Sciences’ teaching is delivered, along with the BU Business School’s postgraduate programmes. It features the Bournemouth Gateway Building – including a range of state-of-the-art healthcare simulation suites and the Weston Library – as well as lots of accommodation and our Executive Business Centre.

Outside our Portsmouth campus

Portsmouth midwifery campus

St Mary’s Community Health campus, Portsmouth, is a BU teaching base dedicated to Midwifery students. The campus forms part of St. Mary’s Hospital, which is a component of Portsmouth Hospital NHS Trust

Outside our Yeovil Campus

Yeovil nursing campus

Since opening in 2004, more than 1,000 student nurses have studied at the Yeovil nursing campus, with many working locally in a variety of nursing and health visiting positions.

Chapel Gate

Based near Bournemouth International Airport, Chapel Gate is a multifaceted outdoor sporting venue managed by BU Community Business Ltd (BUCB).
Planning and levelling of archaeological features

Field equipment

Practical, field-based archaeological survey and recording is a core component of teaching and research within the Department of Archaeology & Anthropology. To support this, the department has an impressive array of the latest survey equipment.
