This course is delivered by the AACSB-accredited Business School, an accreditation attained by fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide. It recognises our focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching and student learning.

As well as being accredited by industry-leading bodies, this course offers the bonus of exemptions for accountancy qualifications meaning you may not have to take all the exams required to become a Chartered Accountant.

Our Finance & Business degree focuses on the financial aspects of business operations, and has been developed to give you a strong foundation on which to build a career in either the finance or business sectors. You will gain specialised financial knowledge and sound business skills providing you with a solid platform on which to build your career.

The first year teaches core subjects within the realms of accounting, finance and economics, but in year two you’ll diversify into your specialist subjects or perhaps even transfer to an alternative accounting and finance pathway, allowing you to keep your options open or to bring your curriculum in line with your future career aspirations. The second year also opens the door to travel, as those interested in studying abroad will have the opportunity to attend one of our international partner institutions. We currently boast partners in Australia, Canada and Europe.

In year three you’ll get the chance to throw yourself into a real-world working environment with an optional 30-week placement, which can be completed at home or abroad, and is intended as an opportunity for you to implement the theoretical framework forged in the classroom, whilst generating a network of key contacts, adding substance to your resume, and ultimately improving your employability.

This course received a 85% overall satisfaction rating from our final year students in the latest National Student Survey (NSS). Join us on live chat now to find out more, register to meet us at an Open Day, or watch our online presentation to find out more about this course.
