Preparing for your Service Improvement Project (PSIP)
This unit is one of two units that lead to a service improvement project. PSIP is the planning stage. This unit along with the service improvement project (SIP), which is the implementation stage, are mandatory units for our master’s courses and are undertaken normally when 120 level 7 credits have been achieved. They can also be taken on a standalone basis.
This unit follows a robust evidenced based approach and is designed to prepare you to bring about a measurable benefit to a service or services against a stated aim within your own professional context. You will gain sufficient knowledge regarding an appropriate, systematic, and justified methodology in a complex professional area design an original, intellectually challenging, and in-depth SIP action plan. It will be evaluated via an oral presentation.
