Study in a stunning coastal location

Located on the south coast of England, Bournemouth University is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty less than two hours from central London by train. We are a green, safe and friendly town welcoming students from many countries.

Famous for its seven-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beaches, the town is also a thriving hub for a number of industries including the creative, financial and tourism sectors. The New Forest National Park is on our doorstep and the Jurassic Coast (which is a World Heritage site) is just a short drive away.

Talya Disagciyan (Turkey)

MSc Foundations of Clinical Psychology, Executive Dean’s Scholarship recipient

I wanted a university with an excellent reputation and ranking, with academic staff who are educated to the highest level. While studying I got to work as a research assistant for my lecturer and volunteer with the NHS as an assistant psychologist.

LLM International Commercial Law graduate

BU stood out to me as having a good reputation in law, particularly taxation law. I now find that I am more up to date on the latest practices than many of my colleagues. BU’s location, on the south coast, also made it a beautiful place to be.
