Accredited by the Institute of Travel and Tourism, Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) and the United Nations World Tourism Organisation, this course is widely recognised for educating work-ready professionals for a range of hospitality positions.
Our four-year course has been designed to equip you with a range of skills and knowledge and an understanding of hospitality businesses and organisations, their management and the dynamic external environment in which they operate, together with a range of professional and practical skills needed to get ahead in this versatile and exciting sector. It’s taught by hospitality specialists who are still actively involved in research that informs the future of the industry, as well as notable experts who will share their wisdom and expertise during our regular guest lectures.
From the start of the course you’ll have a say in shaping your curriculum, as you’ll be able to pick specialist modules to bring your education in line with your own passions, interests and, ultimately, career aspirations. This includes the opportunity to study abroad at one of our many partner institutions across the world.
You’ll gain vital experience using our laboratories and business simulations and in year three you’ll gain vital experience working for 30 weeks in a real-world environment, at home or abroad, ensuring you build a network of professional contacts, bolster your resume and enhance your employability.
Undergraduate students who will successfully complete the Digital Marketing unit have the opportunity to achieve the IDM qualification level 4 Certificate in Digital Marketing, as a result of exemptions awarded by the IDM for the Digital Marketing unit.
