If you are a UK/EU student, you may be eligible for a postgraduate loan to cover your course fees. If you don’t want to pay your fees using the student loan, or aren't eligible, you can choose to pay them in one lump sum or in three instalments each year. When you register online, you will agree the arrangements to pay your tuition fees. Online registration takes place before enrolment.
Deposits for International postgraduate students
International (non-EU) students need to pay a non-refundable* £2,000 deposit to secure their place on a postgraduate course. You will need to pay your deposit by the date stated in your offer letter. The remainder of your fee will be payable on registration/enrolment. Your deposit can be paid in the methods explained in the 'Paying your fees in full' section below.
*There are two exceptions to the non-refundable rule on the deposit:
- You fail to meet the academic or English requirements of your offer
- You are refused a visa to enter the UK, provided the reason for the refusal is not a fraudulent application.
Paying by instalments
You can pay your fees in three instalments online using a debit/credit card. This option is available to all postgraduate students, whether you are studying on a full or part-time basis.
If you pay in instalments, each payment will be one-third of the course fee. The first instalment will be taken when you register and pay online, with the second instalment deducted three months later, and the final instalment taken six months after your first payment.
Students from the USA who receive a Federal Loan can make arrangements to pay their fees in three instalments that tie in with their loan payments.
Paying your fees in full
You can get a 5% early payment discount if you pay your fees before or within seven days of enrolment. However, if you are being sponsored all or in part by your employer, you won’t be eligible for this discount.
If you are paying with a single lump sum, we accept cash, cheques, banker’s drafts, bank transfers and debit/credit card payments. Please note that we require payments in pounds sterling (£). If you are paying by bank transfer, please use the following details:
