This programme has been accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) for the 2025 to 2029 intake years under the following terms: The accredited programme fully meets the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements, for registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng). It will meet, in part, the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Students will need to complete an approved format of further learning pursuant to the requirements of UK-SPEC.
