Career opportunities

After completing this course, you will possess the practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to continue into an academic career or secure employment in a range of organisations from the NHS to private and independent health care providers. 

Please note: This Taught Master’s course provides an excellent foundation for careers related to psychology but does not provide professional accreditation. Therefore, completion of this MSc alone does not qualify you to engage in private clinical practice in the UK. You can work within services and the NHS, based on your graduate degree in Psychology.  Further accredited training, such as a counselling qualification (Diploma) or a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, is required for those wishing to pursue therapeutic roles.
