International student scholarships

For courses starting in September and January

Our postgraduate scholarships are designed to reward excellence in all its forms, giving you additional support while you're studying with us. We offer a wide range of scholarships to our International postgraduate students. We have also partnered with certain institutions around the world to help make studying at a postgraduate level in the UK more accessible. If you are an EU student, please visit our UK/EU scholarship webpages.

The following scholarships are available if you are starting your course in September 2019:

BU Music Scholarships

Able to demonstrate that you are a talented musician or vocalist and that you have been involved in ensemble activity

£1,150 (major award) or £450 (minor award) Apply online by 31 August 2019
BU Sport Scholarship High performing sportspeople with the desire to continue to develop £500 to £5,000 Apply online by 31 August 2019
Chevening Scholarship scheme Full-time applicants for a postgraduate taught course who are a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country at the time of application and who intends to return there at the end of study A tuition fee waiver plus other allowances Apply online - the deadlines are country specific but the application window is usually August each year for September entry in the following year

Chevening Partner Scholarship scheme

Full-time applicants for MSc Cyber Security & Human Factors and MA International Political Communication who are a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country at the time of application and who intends to return there at the end of study A tuition fee waiver plus other allowances Apply online - the deadlines are country specific but the application window is usually August each year for September entry in the following year

BU International Partnership Scholarship: Financial University, Russia

Any student who has studied at Financial University, Russia

£2,000 tuition fee reduction Automatically assessed

BU International Partnership Scholarship: Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus (BNUZ)

Any Chinese student who is studying a course with BNUZ

£2,000 tuition fee reduction Automatically assessed
