From our fitness studios, sports hall and gym on our Talbot Campus, to the 65-acre multi-sports site at Chapel Gate and our partnerships with local venues and clubs across the area, the BU community benefits from a rich variety of places and spaces in which to compete, keep fit, and have fun.
Chapel Gate from the skies
Chapel Gate, based next to Bournemouth Airport, is a 65-acre sports facility and home to a variety of sports including American football, rugby, hockey, cricket, football, squash, table tennis, archery and rifle shooting. Managed by BU Community Business, Chapel Gate regularly hosts local sports clubs and schools. It is also the main playing venue for the university’s sports teams.
