For many Performance Sport athletes, Strength & Conditioning training is at the heart of their training programmes.

Strength & Conditioning sessions prepare you for the physical demands of your sport to ensure you are able to perform at your best. We also aim to help prevent injuries by strengthening structures around joints and potential weak points to keep you playing week in, week out. 

Although the main aim is sporting performance, you will also find that these sessions develop your knowledge of training, and teach you to use equipment safely and effectively to ensure physical longevity. 

TeamBU Strength & Conditioning

Our sport specific sessions are delivered to Performance Sport squads in groups of up to 12 athletes. The sessions can be catered to varying levels of athletes based on their ability.

Each squad can book up to two sessions per week during term time. Should you require more assistance, we can also provide remote programming via our online programming software app, TeamBuildr.

We offer a range of additional support services, including Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and GameReady.

Exclusive use of the high-performance gym

If you sign up to Strength & Conditioning sessions, you will have exclusive access to our high-performance gym facility on Talbot Campus.

The facility is equipped with competition quality Eleiko Olympic barbells, Eleiko & Werksan bumper plates, squat racks, Eleiko dumbbells and much more.
