This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join Academic Services, based primarily within our Admissions Team. You will help the team deliver a high-quality admissions service to our applicants and faculties and provide administrative support to the team. You will take a key role supporting applicant interviews, being the key point of contact for applicants, admission staff and panel members.

We are looking for excellent team players with a proven ability to work proactively who are friendly, well organised, and adaptable. Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills are also required.

There are annual leave restrictions in December, January and August which are peak periods for the Admissions Team.

There are two positions available on a fixed-term basis.

Position 1 – This position is available on a fixed-term basis until 30 November 2023.

Position 2 – This position is available on a fixed-term basis until 04 January 2024.

This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System.  Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
