We have an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to join our Human Resources and Organisational Development team to contribute to the delivery of an excellent service that supports the University’s vision.
In this role, you will work flexibly as part of a team and be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality Human Resources service across the University. You will effectively coordinate and administer the recruitment and employment lifecycle transactions of our temporary hourly paid workforce. This includes the completion of all administration and accurately maintaining the HR system and preparing appropriate documents and correspondence.
You will have recent and relevant experience of undertaking high volume transactional administrative work in a busy environment, including substantial experience of high-volume data entry in a HR/Payroll system. You will possess excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail. As well as being able to maintain confidentiality, you will be highly motivated to provide an excellent and proactive service in line with operational deadlines.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
This position is offered on a fixed-term basis until March 2023, to cover the maternity leave of an established member of staff. Consideration may also be given to the position being offered as a secondment opportunity, but this would need to be discussed with their line managers prior to application.
