Student recruitment

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), who regulate many of our professional programmes, have requirements for service users and carers to contribute to the student recruitment process.

At BU, we do this in a number of ways across different programmes to ensure that the involvement is meaningful. This includes service users and carers contributing to interview panels, group and written activities; designing questions to be used in interviews; creating films and digital resources which applicants are asked to view and discuss; and by providing feedback to inform offer decisions.
