Dr Jane Henriksen-Bulmer is a lecturer in Business System Analysis, privacy and Information Assurance. She recently completed her PhD on privacy, GDPR, risk and organisational decision making looking at how business can incorporate contextual nuances into their privacy and risk decision making processes. Previous to this Dr Henriksen-Bulmer studied law at the Open University, gaining a Bachelor of Law in 2010. She also holds a MBA from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia and a MSc in Information Systems from Bournemouth University. Coming from an industry background Dr Henriksen-Bulmer has a wide ranging experience of running and managing businesses and change including business process improvement. This has strongly influenced her research topic of privacy and risk and how she can best use her research and outputs to influence, assist and support businesses in a practical manner by providing practical tools, guidance and assistance to professionals in the field.

Successfully completed my PhD on privacy, GDPR, risk and organisational decision making. This involved looking at privacy, risk and how businesses can embed privacy by design and default and contextual nuances into their privacy and risk decision making processes.
