Dr Khurshid Djalilov arrived at BU in spring 2011 after completing his PhD funded by the Studentship from School of Social Sciences and Public Policy as well as Overseas Research Studentship at King’s College London (University of London). Previously he taught at King’s College London and University of Greenwich. Dr Djalilov held visiting scholarship at the University of Colorado (USA) funded by US Department of State. He is interested in emerging markets, transition economics and strategic management, in which he published books and research papers. Dr Djalilov is the assistant to the editors of Palgrave’s Dictionary on Emerging Markets and Transition Economies funded by Fusion Investment Fund (BU). He is the reviewer for SASPRO programme of Slovak Academy of Sciences, Acta Oeconomica (a peer-review journal) and for research grant applications of National Centre of Science and Technology Evaluation of Kazakhstan. Dr Djalilov is interested to supervise PhD dissertations in emerging markets, transition economics and strategic management.
