On Tuesday 25 July, from 10am to 4:30pm, BU's Centre for Women’s Health and Midwifery Research will host the ‘Women’s Health Research Symposium’. The symposium will include keynote speakers from women’s health research in Dorset and showcase the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences, PhD researchers. The event will take place in the Share Lecture Theatre on Talbot Campus.
Keynote speakers include Dr Michael Dooley, Consultant Gynaecologist and Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and Helen Crook, Programme Manager - Transformation Delivery at NHS Dorset and lead for the Dorset Women’s Health Hub.

This event will create an opportunity for academics, clinicians, researchers, and those from the charity sector to network, discuss ideas, and outline key priorities in women’s healthcare.
From 12pm – 1:15pm there will be an opportunity for networking and a virtual poster display exhibiting work from Pauline Ferrick-Squibb, Senior Lecturer in MA Photography and BA Commercial Photography at Arts University Bournemouth and Dr Humaira Khan from the Anglo-European of Chiropractic (AECC) University College.
