This event has been tailored to our applicants. Please note that we will contact any registrations not associated with an application to discuss moving your booking to a general Open Day so if you have registered for the event with a different email address to the one linked to a BU application, we may be in touch.

Parking for Talbot Campus Open Day venue

There will be limited free parking on our Talbot Campus (BH12 5BB). On arrival at Talbot Campus, please follow the on-campus signage to the Fusion Building.

Parking for Lansdowne Campus Open Day venue

We have limited free parking at the Bournemouth Gateway Building (BH8 8GP), and Studland House (BH1 3NA). Please access Studland House parking via Cotlands Road. There are also nearby Pay and Display car parks if needed - the closest being Cotlands Road Car Park (BH1 3BG).

Arriving by train, coach or bus

If you are travelling by train or coach, you can use our free shuttle bus service from the Bournemouth Travel Interchange, which runs every 15 minutes and stops at our Talbot and Lansdowne campuses. Shuttle buses depart from 09:00.

At Bournemouth University we have two main campuses, Talbot Campus which hosts the majority of our courses and facilities, and the Lansdowne Campus, which is home to the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences. Unfortunately there are not many hotels within walking distance of our Talbot Campus. However, here's a list of hotels near our Lansdowne Campus, which will have direct bus links to our Talbot Campus if you are visiting there:

The Occupational Therapy Armed Forces Virtual Insight Day will take place from 10:45 to 15:00 on Wednesday 17 April 2024 online. 

Join us on our Occupational Therapy Virtual Insight Day to experience a recorded clinical treatment session and Q&A with clinical staff, and hear about what’s involved when studying to be an Occupational Therapist at university.

There will be opportunities to hear from NHS England, the Royal College of Occupational Therapy, and from former armed service personnel who have trained or are training to be Occupational Therapists.

Join our open evening, from 5:30pm - 7:45pm on Wednesday 24 April at Bournemouth Gateway Building, where you can discover more about studying nursing and midwifery at Bournemouth University. The below courses are represented at this event:

You can join an information talk and insight activity to find out more about the courses, as well as the opportunity to go on a tour of the campus to see the learning facilities. You will have the opportunity to meet some of our academic staff and current students, with plenty of time to ask any questions you might have.
