Please note that we have limited free parking on our Talbot Campus (BH12 5BB). Where possible, we recommend you use our free Park & Ride service at Chapel Gate (BH23 6BL) - only 15 minutes from campus with shuttle buses throughout the day. On arrival at Talbot Campus, please follow the on-campus signage to check-in.

Lansdowne Campus parking

We have limited free parking at the Bournemouth Gateway Building (BH8 8GP), and Studland House (BH1 3NA). Please access Studland House parking via Cotlands Road. There are also nearby Pay and Display car parks if needed - the closest being Cotlands Road Car Park (BH1 3BG).

Arriving by train, coach or bus

If you are travelling by train or coach, you can use our free shuttle bus service from the Bournemouth Travel Interchange, which runs every 15 minutes and stops at our Talbot and Lansdowne campuses. Shuttle buses depart from 09:00.

Open Day Covid safety measures:

  • While our current recommendation is that face coverings are worn in indoor spaces on campus, we recognise that this is a personal choice and we ask that you respect each other's choices.
  • In some specific areas, where close contact is needed, a face covering may still be mandatory unless you have an exemption e.g. in some lab settings where close contact is required. This will be made clear to you at the beginning of the session.
  • You should not attend if you have symptoms of Covid-19, or test positive.
  • You'll find hand sanitising stations across our campuses.
  • Finally, we may need to prioritise prospective students over guests in talks, activities and during tours due to high demand.

If you have registered for one of our on-campus event on Saturday 17 June and our Design & Engineering Open Day on Saturday 24 June, we will update this page with arrival instructions and the programme nearer the time.

Explore our accommodation options

You can see just some of the accommodation you could be living in through our film, ‘At home with BU’. We’ve also got a range of student-led tours to give you an inside-take on what it’s like to live in student accommodation with us.

Campus and local area tours

We’re not just located in a beautiful part of the world – our campuses and facilities are pretty special too.
