'Why talk about sustainable food production is largely hokum'
What is all the fuss about sustainable food production? And what do we even mean by ‘sustainable’? Why are middle class consumers purchasing luxury sustainable foods at farmers markets while their children eat mass produced rubbish for school lunches? Do we really want sustainability or would it affect our standard of living too much?
Sean Beer will be answering all these questions and asking whether the talk about sustainability is all just hokum.
