If you are a part-time student and you have a Tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance England you can now apply for your 2019/20 student finance.
The quickest and easiest way to apply is online at www.gov.uk/studentfinance.
Continuing students
- If you're a continuing student who started a part-time course on or after 1 September 2012 you can apply now
- If you're a continuing student who started a part-time course before 1 September 2012 Student Finance England will contact you direct to prompt you to apply in due course.
New students
In addition to a Tuition Fee Loan, part-time students starting a course on or after 1 August 2019 can apply for a Maintenance Loan:
- A part-time Tuition Fee Loan covers the cost of the part-time course tuition fees. This is paid directly to the university in three instalments during the academic year
- A part-time Maintenance Loan helps with day-to-day living costs, such as rent or food. It’s paid directly to you.
