Dorset HealthCare will be operating a temporary 'pop up' vaccination clinic on Bournemouth University’s Talbot Campus from Thursday 8 July to Saturday 10 July.
The vaccination clinic will be located within Kimmeridge House (KG01), opening at the following times:
- Thursday 8 July, 10am-4.30pm
- Friday 9 July, 10am-4.30pm
- Saturday 10 July, 10am-4.30pm
The clinic will be open to the public, staff and students and will be operated on a walk-in basis with no need to book appointments. The clinic will be offering first doses of the Pfizer vaccine only, to anyone aged 18 or over. Due to the way the vaccine is stored, around 400 doses will be available each day and jabs will be given on a first come, first served basis.
If you are working on-site during this time, we would ask you to park in the Talbot Campus car park B (between Tolpuddle Annex and Poole Gateway Building). Public arriving by car will be directed to the visitor car park, located behind Talbot House. To avoid any confusion, the Mobile Test Unit will not be active in car park H during this time.
We would like to reassure students and staff working on site that the vaccination clinic will be well managed by trained NHS staff, and members of the public will be advised not to enter BU buildings.
For more information about the temporary vaccination clinic, go to the Dorset vaccination programme information hub or to book a vaccine in a different location visit the National Booking System.
