The Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA) and the trade unions have completed their dispute resolution process over the national pay negotiations for 2023/24. Discussions on pay are complete and, as part of the next phase of negotiations for 2023/24, UCEA and the trade unions are to continue talks over the coming week. As a result, industrial action will be paused and UCU has advised that the strikes planned for the following dates will now not be taking place:
Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 February this week
Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 February and Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 March next week.
