Heading home for the summer or getting ready to graduate? Instead of throwing things away, you can make a real difference.
The SUBU Big Give 2026 is your chance to clear out your room and support people in need. Every year, students donate unwanted clothes, books, accessories, electricals, and even unopened food - helping charities while reducing waste and landfill.
Last year alone, the impact was huge:
- Over 4,249 bags donated to the British Heart Foundation, which helped them raise more than £16,769
- 341 bags collected by Prama Charity Shops, helping to raise around £4,700
- Countless food donations supporting the SUBU Community Kitchen food bank.
This year, you can help make an even bigger difference.
Why take part?
Moving out often means throwing things away - but it doesn’t have to.
By donating through the Big Give, you will:

- Reduce waste and help protect the environment
- Make your move-out easier with convenient donation points.
