We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Estates Space Planning team, to help build and maintain student and staff timetables. This role will involve working across multiple Faculties, proactively interpreting data, providing advice and working with academic staff to achieve an excellent student and staff timetable experience. Attention to detail, strong communication skills (both written and face-to-face) and a passion for customer service are all essential.
A creative and diplomatic approach to problem solving, and excellent people skills will also help meet the demands of this varied and challenging role, which is an ideal opportunity for established staff looking to broaden their knowledge, experience and expertise at BU.
This position is offered on a fixed-term basis for up to 18 months. Consideration may also be given to the position being offered as a secondment opportunity, but this would need to be discussed with their line managers prior to application.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
