If you’re aged 16 – 24, you may be eligible for a free HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine which can be administered at one of our on-campus clinics on the following days:
- Bournemouth Gateway Building, Tuesday 4 and Thursday 6 March, 9.30am - 3.30pm (you must remember to bring your student card to get into the building)
- Talbot Campus Medical Centre, Talbot House: Tuesday 11 and Thursday 13 March, 9.30am - 3.30pm
HPV vaccinations help to protect all genders from genital warts and HPV-related cancers, including penile, anal, vaginal, cervical, and throat cancer.
You may have had this vaccine in school, but if you missed it, it’s not too late to get protected.
The NHS in Dorset is running drop-in clinics for:
- Females born on or after 1 September 2001 (up to age 24)
- Males born on or after 1 September 2006 (up to age 16, 17 and some 18-year-olds)
- Transgender individuals aged 16 – 24.
You can drop into one of our on-campus clinics during the days and times above. You don’t need an appointment, you can pop by at any time and the vaccination only takes a few minutes.
If you can’t make it to a clinic on Talbot Campus, there are a number of drop-in clinics in the local area – please check the website to find your nearest one.
If you’re not sure whether or not you’ve already had the jab, either talk to the staff at the clinics, email [email protected] or text or call 07779264351.
