This is a £5,000 a year grant available to students enrolling on one of the following courses from September 2026:
- BA Hons Business and Management – including specialist pathways in Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Project Management
- BA Hons International Business & Management
- BSc (Hons) Marketing
It's designed to provide financial and career support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK and is open to:
- Students from Black, Asian or other minority ethnic backgrounds
- Students from a low household income (combined income of £50,000 or less)
- Care experienced students (those in the care system or care leavers)
- Mature students (those aged 21-24).
The deadline to apply is 2 October 2026.
About the donor
Annette D’Abreo is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of global marketing business Ceuta Healthcare, an IQVIA company, which has its headquarters in Bournemouth. Having sold the family home to take a chance on a start-up business in the mid-90s, Annette is now a successful businesswoman who is passionate about nurturing new talent. She is a previous winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards and recently received an Outstanding Contribution to the Health & Beauty Industry Award from the Health and Beauty Association.
Annette is a longstanding supporter of education and outreach, having served as a Board Member at Bournemouth University and as a current Trustee with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
This studentship will provide one student with a £5,000-a year grant across the three years of their undergraduate degree, together with wraparound career support including opportunities for placements and mentoring.
