The ADRC Research Participation Group is a network of people interested in ageing research. The group meets regularly and includes members of the public, service users, carers, and professionals.

Ensuring that older people, people with dementia and family carers remain at the heart of our research activities is central to the meetings. During meetings, researchers share their research or findings, and the group follow on with discussion and questions.

This discussion offers researchers alternative perspectives based on lived experience, helping to generate new ideas for research.

The group offers a relaxed atmosphere, with no requirement to attend every month. If you are interested in finding out more, or would like be part of the group, then please email [email protected].

The group meets virtually via the online platform Zoom, with occasional meeting in person on campus. We are happy to support anyone that has not used Zoom before, please just let us know in your email.
