How do you use yours?

Your TEL Toolkit launched on 1 February 2016 and now is your opportunity to share how you use yours. Bringing together your examples will provide an opportunity to add additional content to your TEL Toolkit and may provoke some new ideas for others too.

The competition will be open from 14 March 2016 until 22 April 2016 and you are encouraged to enter using whatever media you prefer, e.g. a short video, a written narrative or a couple of PowerPoint slides. Entries will be judged based on the application of the TEL Toolkit themes of:

  1. Co-creation & collaboration
  2. Assessment
  3. Flipped classrooms
  4. Feedback & feedforward
  5. Blended learning
  6. Student engagement.

Entries are invited to consider the application of the TEL Toolkit and a reflection on ways the tool(s) may have changed your approach to teaching, added value to the student's learning experience, enthused the student and/or the academic team, as well as consideration of scalability within your discipline and across BU.

To enter, please submit your entries to [email protected] by midnight on 22 April 2016, providing your name (or the name of the person you are nominating), department and faculty.

Anyone nominated will have a chance to win an iPad 2 Air or one of the runner's up prizes.

Entries will be judged by the Technology Enhanced Learning Strategy Forum (TELSF) on 3 May 2016 and prizes will be presented by Vice Chancellor Professor John Vinney, on Thursday 19 May 2016 at 10am in CEL Space – PG30a. All prize winners and those shortlisted will be invited to attend the presentation.
