Eligibility
  • Any UK student on a full-time undergraduate course (not funded by the NHS) who has entered university after studying an Access to Higher Education qualification
  • You must be eligible to pay the full-time UK tuition fee rate
  • Applicants for one-year Top-up courses are not eligible for this scholarship
  • Applicants for courses offered through partner colleges are not eligible for this scholarship
  • If you have been awarded any other BU scholarship then you are not eligible for this scholarship

The BU Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship for the most-promising applicant (Access to Higher Education) is awarded to one student who meets or exceeds the entry requirements for their course when studying an Access to Higher Education qualification.

You need to apply for this scholarship and the applications will be assessed based on your results and personal statement. The scholarship is paid in the form of a tuition fee waiver in your first year only.
