BU alumni online event - Early Careers Track with Matt Hughes
Entrepreneurial insights
Thursday 17 December, 8.30-9.30am
Matt co-founded Aurora Demand while still studying at BU, and since graduating has grown the company to become an award-winning marketing agency with an international reach. Alongside running the business, Matt has taught two university courses and now teaches apprentices and adult learners in the London area. His work has gained external recognition, including winning the ‘Scale-up Business of the Year Award South West’ and being named a finalist of the ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award’, run by the Federation of Small Businesses. Matt draws on his expertise to support good causes, including serving as a Trustee for the Round Table Children’s Wish charity and as a volunteer with the Hackney Pirates literacy scheme.
In this scheme session, Matt will be exploring the traits of an entrepreneur and sharing insights from his own entrepreneurial journey
