Bournemouth University is proud to be hosting the 2026 national KTP Associates Conference 2026. Taking place on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 June at Bournemouth University’s Talbot Campus, the conference will bring together those involved in administering KTPs and knowledge exchange activities.
For almost five decades, KTPs have played a central role in supporting innovation and helping businesses and universities work together to drive real‑world impact. This conference is a celebration of that work. It recognises the curiosity, expertise and commitment of the Associates in driving these powerful collaborations forward.
Conference dates and times are Wednesday 3 June (8.30am to 5pm) and Thursday 4 June (8.30am to 2pm). The single ticket price of £350 covers both days of the conference (including transportation to Talbot Campus via the Unibus from the town centre), evening entertainment and dinner on Wednesday 3 June, and conference catering (excluding breakfast).
We chose to host the conference on-site within the Fusion Building. The spectacular space lends itself to our vision for the KTP conference with a focus on networking, inspirational speakers and engrossing workshops. Find your way around Talbot Campus
Conference theme – ‘Innovation in an Age of Uncertainty’
In a world defined by rapid technological shifts and changes, the ability to innovate under pressure has never been more vital. The traditional roadmaps for innovation are being redrawn by AI, quantum computing and emerging digital technologies.
This year’s conference moves beyond simply managing change. We are focusing on how we can transform uncertainty from a daunting obstacle into a catalyst for creative solutions/ideas.
