Check out our Festive Campaign #12DaysOfBU celebrating Bournemouth University’s best bits from 2016 including our Times Higher Education ranking, the arrival of our new students, Graduation and the upcoming BU Big Match. Here's what we're celebrating...

  • Day one: Our Times Higher Education top 200 most international university ranking!
  • Day two: BU graduate, Mark Ardington, is part of the team collecting an Oscar for the visual effects work on Ex Machina
  • Day three: BU student, Chloe Mulligan, awarded Intern Superstar of the Year while on placement with Virgin Media
  • Day four: BU recognised for being one of the best young universities in the world by Times Higher Education
  • Day five: celebrates our Global Festival of Learning with events in China and Malaysia as well as here in Bournemouth
  • Day six: BU archaeology staff and students work on the Durotriges Big Dig, uncovering some of Dorset's hidden heritage
  • Day seven: BU staff contributions to the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio
  • Day eight: celebrates the opening of the Fusion Building - our most environmentally friendly building to date
  • Day nine: celebrates welcoming new students to #belongatbu through our Arrivals activity. 
  • Day ten: showcased our Spring Snap competition, which asked people to share their favourite spring photos 
  • Day eleven: celebrated the thousands of students collecting their degree certificates during BU's Graduation ceremonies
