Donate your used, new or surplus bras into one of the 'bra banks' on campus.
In support of Against Breast Cancer there will be four banks at BU to donate second-hand, or even new bras, to the recycling scheme for unwanted or unloved bras (no matter how well-loved they’ve been).
The donations go towards fundraising for much needed research. The textile recovery part of the scheme helps create new bras which are sent to countries where bras are simply too expensive. We're aiming to get at least 200 bras per bank. Help us to reach our target by donating your bras at the following banks, which will be on campus until the end of the academic year:
Talbot Campus
- for the first week in Poole House (next to the Global Hub), from the second week onwards in the Careers Centre
- Student Centre
Lansdowne Campus
- BOHO lounge in Bournemouth House
- SUBU office in Studland House
