To improve sleep and support your mental wellbeing, Public Health England (PHE) have updated their Every Mind Matters website to includes new NHS-approved expert tips and advice on improving your sleep.
It comes as new data from PHE reveals that more than four in 10 adults are experiencing more sleep problems than usual, with over half of 16-29 year olds the most likely to be affected. In addition, those already experiencing mental health problems are also more likely to be impacted.
Sleep plays a critical role when it comes to maintaining mental wellbeing: long-term sleep loss can lead to issues such as anxiety and depression.
