Bournemouth University has rejoined the University Alliance, a mission group linking 18 universities across the UK.
University Alliance (UA) represents professional and technical universities who specialise working with industry and employers, with a strong track record in applied research, and BU rejoins the Group, having previously been a founding member of the UA.
The university will benefit from a range of professional networks and joint programmes, gaining insight and support from member institutions, while adding BU’s voice to help inform government policy on higher education and other relevant issues.
Professor Alison Honour will join the UA’s board alongside Vice-Chancellors from other partner organisations.
On joining the UA, Professor Alison Honour said, “We are pleased to be joining the University Alliance at an important moment for the sector, as we join with other universities to have a collective voice in driving innovation and shaping the future of higher education.
